La technologie HIFU (Ultrasons Focalisés à Haute Intensité) est utilisée depuis plus de 10 ans par les médecins dans le traitement du cancer de la prostate afin de détruire les cellules cancéreuses sans incision.

La HIFU Rubis atteint son efficacité maximale grâce à un système particulier : le TRASER (Amplification de la Réflexion Totale des Émissions Spontanées de Rayonnement).

Dans une expérience clinique, on a découvert que le TRASER focalise les ultrasons ultrasoniques et atteint les couches dermiques les plus profondes de manière non invasive. C’est suite à cette découverte que la HIFU a fait son entrée dans le monde de l’esthétique, notamment pour remplacer le lifting chirurgical.

Le traitement HIFU va se concentrer avec précision sur des couches spécifiques de la peau (derme superficiel, derme profond et SMAS) ce qui engendrera des microlésions.
